Open Science speech by EU Commissioner Kroes: "To make progress in science, we need to be open and share"
On the occasion of the ALLEA annual meeting of 11 and 12 April in Rome, Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission and responsible for the Digital Agenda spoke on the subject of Open Science. In her speech Kroes explained the importance of open data and Open Access for a democratisation and globalisation of the sciences in the Internet era.
